Live at The Village Vanguard is a monthly series from WBGO, NPR, and
The Village Vanguard that presents jazz programming in a completely
fresh way, using multi-platform media to heighten the jazz experience.
Visitors to the WBGO website are able to listen to the concerts online
in real time, and chat with WBGO's Special Projects Coordinator and
host, Josh Jackson in a live conversation via the WBGO chat room, to
discuss the performances as they happen. Photos are shot and uploaded
during the performance, giving a complete live musical experience to
visitors. Jackson also blogs live to www.WBGO.org/blog. Upcoming shows

I wanted to tell you about The Domino Effect, a concert here at the New Orleans Arena on May 30, in case you haven’t read about it already. It’s a tribute to Fats Domino featuring B.B. King, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Ozomatli, Junior Brown, Keb’ Mo’, Wyclef Jean, and Taj Mahal. The concert is benefiting the Drew Brees Dream Foundation, which helps kids in NOLA. Hop on a plane, come see it, write about it, and tell everyone you know about it! Tickets start at $50 and VIP packages (meet & greet with the artists!) are $250.
